Welcome to Hallow's Stations of the Cross Challenge. This unique challenge is based on the ancient practice of following Jesus along His Way of the Cross. We will examine each of those fourteen events in depth with individual prayer sessions. Note: The imaginative portions of these meditations can be very challenging.

    2Takes up the crossFor this station, we'll meditate on both the cross Jesus carries, and the crosses we bear in our own lives.Visualization & Lectio: The 2nd station
    3The first fallIn this station, we see Jesus fall for the first time and meditate on ways in which we have laid crosses on others.Visualization & Lectio: The 3rd station
    4Meets His motherDuring this station, we witness Jesus meeting His mother on the way to the cross.Visualization & Lectio: The 4th station
    5Simon helps carry the cross Today, we'll focus on the fifth station, where a passerby named Simon helps Jesus carry His cross.Visualization and Lectio: Fifth station
    6Veronica wipes His faceIn this station, a woman named Veronica wipes Jesus' face. We, too, consider what it means to see the face of God.Visualization and Lectio: Sixth station
    7The second fallAs Jesus falls for the second time, we think about the times when we ourselves have failed.Visualization & Lectio: Seventh station
    8The women of JerusalemDuring this station, Jesus meets the women of Jerusalem and tells them a surprising truth.Visualization and Lectio: Eighth station
    9The third fallAt this station, Jesus falls for the third and final time, showing He is willing to share in our every pain.Visualization and Lectio: Ninth station
    10Stripped nakedIn this station, Jesus goes to the core of our shame as the soldiers strip Him of His clothes.Visualization and Lectio: Tenth station
    11Nailed to the crossDuring this station, we see Jesus give everything He has for us as He is nailed to the cross.Visualization & Lectio: Eleventh station
    12Dies on the crossJesus dies on the cross. We spend time in silence, offering sorrow and gratitude for God's sacrifice.Visualization & Lectio: Twelfth station
    13Taken down from the crossIn this station, one of Jesus' disciples shows courage by receiving His body from the cross.Visualization/Lectio: Thirteenth station
    14Laid in the tombAt this final station, we join in the waiting of the disciples as Jesus is laid in the tomb.Visualization/Lectio: Fourteenth station
